1. Admission and Registration

Admission to KIST Hostel is granted only upon submission of required documents, including identification and academic details.

All fees must be paid in advance as per the hostel’s fee structure.

Rooms are allotted by management and cannot be exchanged without prior approval.
2. Fees and Payment

Hostel fees must be paid on or before the due date. Late payments may incur penalties.

Fees once paid are non-refundable, except in specific cases as determined by management.

Any damages caused to hostel property will be charged separately.
3. Code of Conduct

Residents are expected to maintain discipline, cleanliness, and respect toward fellow students and staff.

Smoking, alcohol, drugs, or any illegal activity is strictly prohibited within the hostel premises.

Loud music, disruptive behavior, or activities that disturb others will not be tolerated.
4. Safety and Security

Residents must carry valid identification and hostel ID at all times.

Visitors are allowed only during designated hours and must register at the reception.

The hostel is not responsible for loss of personal belongings; residents are advised to secure valuables.
5. Use of Facilities

Hostel facilities, including study areas, dining halls, and recreational spaces, must be used responsibly.

Damaging hostel property or misusing resources may result in fines, suspension, or expulsion.

Residents must comply with hostel timings, including entry/exit hours and lights-out schedules.
6. Health and Hygiene

Residents must maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness of their rooms.

Any illness or medical condition must be promptly reported to hostel management.

Cooking inside rooms is not permitted unless otherwise specified.
7. Termination of Residency

Hostel management reserves the right to terminate residency for violation of rules, misconduct, or non-payment of fees.

Residents must vacate the hostel within the notified time upon completion of their stay or termination.
8. Liability Disclaimer

The hostel shall not be held liable for any personal injury, accident, or loss of belongings within the premises.

Residents are responsible for their own safety and are encouraged to follow hostel rules at all times.

KIST Hostel reserves the right to amend or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Residents will be notified of changes through official communication channels.
